Hi,
Adding more per-realm "slots" for death knights made sense back before you could simply swap specs on the fly at any time you pleased. When they first hit the scene, you could dual-spec for a thousand gold (which wasn't such chump change at the time), giving you access to two specs out of the total of three available for the class. So adding the ability to roll a second DK on the same realm gave you the ability to have access to all the specs without respeccing, seemed logical.
But demon hunters only have two specs in the first place, and you can switch on the fly now anyway. And they're race-locked. So I guess I just don't see the appeal of having two or more of them on the same realm, other than wanting to have one of each gender, maybe? The new Allied Races aren't going to be able to roll as DH, either, so unless you're looking to have demon hunters of both factions on the same realm (which can't send gold or gear to each other anyway), it's really no skin off your nose.
